In the past year I have learned the importance of reading aloud and reading widely. Thanks mostly to the amazing Read Aloud Revival podcast. I confess, reading aloud is not something I enjoyed at first. However, read aloud time has become one of my favorite things we do throughout the day. When I was looking at what we wrapped up in the month of August I was impressed with how much we read this month. This list includes read alouds, independent reads and audio books.
